Meet Your Spaceholder: Cagla

I was born different with a port-wine stain on my face, into deep poverty, in a culture where women weren’t allowed to study. But I didn’t let those conditions define me. I became an engineer, challenged norms, shifted my family’s mindset, and rose into executive roles across global organizations. Still, behind the "success", I was hiding masking not only my birthmark, but parts of myself. I reached a turning point in 2020: I could no longer move forward without facing what was within. That moment changed everything.

My healing journey began with deep inner work: meeting my shadows, breaking patterns, and walking through my own dark night of the soul. I’ve been meditating daily ever since, and have become a Reiki Master, meditation instructor, certified yoga teacher, astrologer, and breathwork facilitator whiile remaining a lifelong student.

Breathwork, especially, has accelerated my transformation. And connecting with the sky through astrology has helped me realign with the universe, life and, more importantly, with myself.

Now, I’ve stepped fully into my purpose: supporting YOU as you face yourself couragously, release the weight of the past, and discover the light and truth within.

What’s the difference between online and in-person sessions?

✅ Online sessions allow for a safe, comfortable space at home, eliminating the need for travel and making integration smoother. The facilitators are highly trained and experienced in delivering online sessions, ensuring a safe and effective experience. To maintain a supportive space, having your camera on is required throughout the session.

✅ In-person sessions provide direct facilitation, hands-on support, and the energy of a shared group setting, allowing for deeper in-the-moment guidance when needed.

Both approaches are designed to help you connect deeply with yourself and access transformation. The choice depends on your personal preferences and comfort level.

How should I prepare for a breathwork session?

  • Avoid eating a large meal beforehand.
  • Use a yoga mat, blankets for a comfortable experience - having a  blindfold may help to go deeper in your experience
  • Have a notebook/journal and pen for reflections.
  • Reflect on your intentions and motivations before attending.
  • Approach the session with an open mind, allowing emotions to arise without resistance.

What if I feel overwhelmed during the session?

  • It’s completely okay to pause, take a break, or stop if needed.
  • The facilitator is there to support and hold space for you.
  • Take deep breaths and focus on grounding yourself. 

Remember, breathing is safe and you have the control over your breathing.

Are there any contraindications for breathwork?

Breathwork and deep emotional work can be intense. It is not recommended for individuals with:

  • Epilepsy, glaucoma, detached retina, cardiovascular diseases, strokes, or high blood pressure
  • Severe mental health conditions (e.g., schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder)
  • History of aneurysms in the family or use of blood thinners
  • Recent psychiatric hospitalization (last 10 years)
  • Osteoporosis, chronic illnesses, or physical injuries that are not fully healed (consult a physician first)
  • Pregnancy
  • Asthma (bring an inhaler and consult your doctor before participating)

Can I participate if I recently consumed alcohol, drugs, or psychedelics?

No. Breathwork is deeply experiential and can lead to intense emotional release. It is not advised if you have:

  • Consumed alcohol, drugs, or psychedelics in the past 24 hours
  • Completed an extended fast within the past 72 hours
